Truth

Truth?

What do you think when you hear that word; TURE?  Does that word make you proud or do you coward away?  Do you start thinking of a defense in your head or do you have it all figured out?  Is truth in the “eye of the beholder” or is there an absolute?  Does Truth scare you?

All I know is I’ve been hurt from people that  have spoken “truth” to me…. Now, I should stop and tell you that this isn’t going to be a pity party, I’m just trying to figure out why I’ve been screwed (or lack of)  in my life.

I was taught at a young age that you go to church, wait to have sex till marriage and pray to have a wonderful life and God will smile down on you… Well, I did that and things didn’t “workout” so well.. I married the women I was “waiting for” for life….but after 4 years and me getting her through nursing school, she called it quits.wait wait wait… Let me get this straight… you go into a “marriage” with someone else…you two have both waited to have sex… and then on your wedding night  you’re suppose to “consummate” the marriage?… umm, bullshit!  How can you assume(ASS out of U and ME) that the Sex will be great or that you’ll be sexually compatible for the rest of your life?  Isn’t that gambling with your life and your “life partner”?… and don’t tell me that if you wait till marriage it will be wonderful…  If you’re one of the lucky one’s that waited and are now “married” and sex is wonderful, I’m happy for you….but please, please, please don’t ask me to wait again till I get married(if i ever do)… I don’t want to make that same mistake again and waste another 6 years of my life.
